Fabulous atmosphere, great food – Reviewed 7 July 2016

This was a happily noisy, warm restaurant with a great vibe. The building is traditional timber panelling with timber furniture and red velvet curtains to keep the cold winds out. The food was hearty Belgian style meals so enough for the biggest appetite. We chose roast lamb shoulder – slow-cooked with baked vegetables and a Flemish beef stew with a combo of mashed vegetables – also reportedly delicious. Much as we would have loved to also have the Belgian chocolate mousse – we just could not squeeze it in. Visited July 2016.
