Spectacular food and location – Reviewed 6 July 2016

Climbing a few flights of stairs was well worthwhile to find this elegant restaurant overlooking the ferry terminal on Auckland harbour.
Despite being midwinter, we could comfortably sit on the verandah thanks to the protection of clear plastic blinds and the warmth from standard gas heaters.
This was a delightful location to sip champagne and enjoy a fresh seafood platter. Mostly fresh raw fish and crustaceans, this was top notch seafood: halved grilled prawns and bugs, fresh oysters, fresh clams and pipis, finely sliced salmon and fillets decorated with caviar – all with a variety of dipping sauces and a bowl of chips. Beautifully presented. Visited July 2016.
